Fern Springs

This wooded area is open to group picnicking at a beautiful spring. Four Group Shelters as well as seven picnic sites are provided. Reservations are required for the shelters.
Fern Springs is open from the last week of April through the last week of October. As of June 10, 2005, a fee is not required for use of this site. Please visit the Chattahoochee National Forest website for additional information.
Directions
From downtown Toccoa, take W. Currahee St./Hwy 123 south towards Hwy. 17 to the Jeanette Jamieson Intersection. Go straight through the intersection, taking GA Hwy. 13 towards Cornelia/Mt. Airy. Stay on Hwy. 13 for approximately 12 miles to the Fern Springs entrance.
