Scenic AttractionsToccoa Falls
Toccoa Falls are the signature of Toccoa Falls College. At 186 feet, 10 feet taller than Niagara Falls, the falls take a spectacular vertical drop into a rocky pool. A stream flows from the base of the falls through the lower section of the 11,000-acre wooded campus. On November 6th, 1977, a dam above the falls gave way killing thirty-nine members of the Toccoa Falls College community. A memorial has been erected at the site of the falls remembering the lives lost on that day.
