-1- TO RESTRICT THE USE OF EMINENT DOMAIN. House Resolution No.1306 Shall the Constitution of Georgia be amended so as to prohibit the use of eminent domain by certain non-elected authorities and to prohibit the contested use of eminent domain except for public use as defined by general law? -2- Senate Resolution No.67 Shall the Constitution of Georgia be amended so as to provide that the tradition of fishing and hunting and the taking of fish and wildlife shall be preserved for the people and shall be managed by law and regulation for the public good? -3- House Resolution No. 1564 Shall the Constitution of Georgia be amended so as to authorize the General Assembly to provide for special motor vehicle license plates and dedicate the revenue from such plates for stated purposes, including dedications for the ultimate use of angencies, funds, or nonprofit corporations where it is found that there will be a benefit to the state?
-A- House bill No.203 Shall the Act be approved which expands th Ad Valorem tax exemption for agricultural products and equipment to include certain additional farm equipment held under a lease purchase agreement? -B- House Bill No. 173 Shall the Act be approved which expands the Ad Valorem tax exemption for veterans organizations to include certain additional nonprofit veterans organizations which refurbish and operate historic military aircraft for educational purposes? -C- House Bill No. 848 Section 1 Shall the Act be approved which grants an exemption from Ad Valorem taxation on property owned by a charitable institution which generates income when that income is used exclusively for the operation of such charitable institution? -D- House Bill No. 848 Section 3 Shall the Act be approved which provides a homestead exemption for senior citizens in a amount equal to to the actual levy for state Ad Valorem tax purposes on the homestead? -E- House Bill No. 81 Section 2 Shall the Act be approved which provides a homestead exemption for the full value of the homestead with respect to all Ad Valorem taxes for the unmarried surviving spouse of a peace officer or a firefighter who was killed in the line of duty? -F- House Bill No. 81 Section 4 Shall the Act be approved which provides that, with respect to base year assessed value homestead exemptions, the surviving spouse of a deceased spouse who has been granted such a homestead exemption shall receive that exemption at the same base valuation that applied to the deceased spouse so long as that surviving spouse continues to occupy that home as a residence and homestead SPECIAL ELECTION ACT NO, 725 (HB1534) “Shall the Act be approved which provides a homestead exemption from Stephens County school district ad valorem taxes for educational purposes for residents of that school district for disabled veterans or their un-remarried surviving spouses, if deceased, on a current or subsequent homestead?”
“ Shall the Act be approved which reconstitutes the board of commissioners of Stephens County as a five member board?” ACT NO. 774 (HB1529 “Shall the Act be approved which provides an additional homestead exemption form Stephens County school district ad valorem taxes for educational purposes in the amount of $25,000.00 of the assessed value of the homestead of the residents of the school district who are 65 years of age or over or disabled?” ACT NO.769 (HB1531) “ Shall the Act be approved which provides a homestead exemption form Stephens County school district ad valorem taxes for educational purposes for residents of the school district who are un-remarried surviving spouses of United States Service members killed in action to be received on a currant or subsequent homestead?” SPECIAL ELECTION ACT O. 771 (HB1530) “Shall the Act be approved which provides a homestead exemption from Stephens County ad valorem taxes for county purposes for residents of that county for disabled veterans of their un-remarried surviving spouses, if deceased, on a current or subsequent homestead?”
