Toccoa Falls are the signature of Toccoa Falls College. At 186
feet, 10 feet taller than Niagara Falls, the falls take a spectacular
vertical drop into a rocky pool. A stream flows from the base of
the falls through the lower section of the 11,000-acre wooded campus.
On November 6th, 1977, a dam above the falls gave way killing
thirty-nine members of the Toccoa Falls College community. A
memorial has been erected at the site of the falls remembering the
lives lost on that day. The following links provide additional

Visitors can take a stroll along a sidewalk for a few hundred feet to
view the falls, making it easy for all ages to take part in this grand
creation.
Entrance to the falls can be found by going through the Gate Cottage
Gift Shop at the back of Toccoa Falls College Campus. The Gift
Shop charges a nominal fee of $1 for adults, $.50 for Senior Citizens
and Free for Children 12 and younger. The falls are open daily
from dawn until dusk.
